Little Monkey’s Nursery in Windsor ‘Raise the Roof’ for Local Charity Fun Day
Little Monkey’s Nursery in Windsor raised an amazing £2,088 at their ‘Raise the Roof’ Charity Fun day in December.
The event was held to raise money for Thames Hospice, a charity providing vital care and support to people across Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire facing a life-limiting illness, and one which is held dear by all at the Nursery.
The event was a huge success and was attended by many families and members of the local community of Windsor.
Attendees enjoyed a range of activities and games, including face painting, a silent auction and raffle, and also had a visit from Bracknell Reptiles. The children were able to meet a variety of animals, and the day was topped off with a visit from Father Christmas!
Emma Gealy, the Nursery Manager said, “It was amazing to see such a great turnout of families from the Nursery and from the local community in Windsor. We are very grateful for everyone’s involvement and we are all honoured to be able to raise this much-needed money for Thames Hospice, as this charity means a lot to us as a Nursery team.”
