Dominic Harrison​

CEO of ICP Nurseries

Gill Medhurst

Head of Childcare & Operations

After graduating with a degree in Modern History from Oxford University, Dominic Harrison qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and has spent his career since in senior roles in both public and private businesses.

After senior Marketing and Operations roles in both Grand Metropolitan plc and Bass plc, he moved into General Management with Hilton Group plc (Commercial Director – Ladbrokes), Gala Group  (Trading Director) and then Gala Coral Group where he was Managing Director, E-Commerce and Group Chief Operating Officer before becoming Group CEO in 2008.

He worked internationally as CEO, Northern Europe at Regus plc (now IWG plc) until 2017 before becoming CEO of venture capital backed MW Solicitors Ltd which was sold in mid-2020.

Dominic has a broad experience of people based businesses and sectors – many of which involved a regulator – and has led growth both organically and by acquisition.

He also volunteers as a Trustee on the Board of Gamcare – the leading UK charity providing information, advice and support for anyone harmed by gambling.  

Gill is responsible for supporting the nursery management teams to ensure sufficient and sustainable childcare provision which meets the diverse needs of our families and nurtures children to become creative and responsible lifelong learners.

Gill has worked in the early years sector for over 25 years in a variety of fascinating and challenging roles, however she is always an Early Years Educator at heart who is committed to ensuring young children receive educational excellence in order to give them the best possible start in life.

Gill is very proud of her blended family, and has 3 grown up children. She is also an adoring Nanny to her young Grandson. In her spare time she enjoys trips to the cinema and eating out, and walks in the country side with her two rescue dogs.

Gill has worked in the early years sector for over 25 years in a variety of fascinating and challenging roles, however she is always an Early Years Educator at heart who is committed to ensuring young children receive educational excellence in order to give them the best possible start in life.

Nick Tideswell

Head Of Finance

David Norman

Facilities Manager

Nick Tideswell is our Head of Finance. Nick is responsible for the finance team who provide advice, support and services to our Nursery Managers, local authorities, parents and suppliers.

Upon leaving school, Nick continued his education, undertaking various business studies courses, which led on to his AAT, then CIMA, achieving fellowship in 2009. Nick has always worked in industry, and prides himself on his work ethic and his 30 years’ of experience. Having worked at all levels during his career, Nick has combined his studies with practical experience, giving him an insight into all aspects of the business.

During his time out of the office, Nick can be found in his garage tinkering with his classic Volkswagen, watching the rugby, gardening, spending time with his family and his labrador. Nick is also a keen DIY enthusiast and enjoys home improvement work.

David began his career as a bricklayer and worked within the Construction industry for twenty years, before progressing to Property Maintenance and Surveying. He has been responsible for managing property for a number of major UK companies. Despite many years in the industry, David is still extremely passionate about everything to do with buildings and uses his many years of experience to effectively manage the wide range of properties in the group.

David is responsible for ensuring all our properties are safe for our children, staff and visitors and that all Compliance Testing is up to date. He also manages our in-house team of three Maintenance Operatives.

David lives with his partner, and between them they have four children and three grandchildren.  They both enjoy holidays and spending time at their static caravan on the banks of the River Nene. David’s other passion is his beloved Leicester City Football Club and he also enjoys golf, fishing and walking in his spare time.

Becky Vine

Head of Commercial & Marketing

Becky Vine is the Commercial Manager for ICP Nurseries and has worked in the childcare sector for 8 years – her ICP career started when we bought St Ives Nursery which was owned by Becky’s family.

Becky is responsible for all parents’ invoicing and administration of Early Years Funding across all of our settings. Becky manages the Connect Team who provide support for both our parents and Nursery Managers, and is responsible for the management of Marketing and Communication, with a focus on parent relationships.

Becky has 3 wonderful, young daughters, who keep her on her toes outside of work. Additionally, Becky enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends, food (eating, not cooking), listening to music and keeping fit.

Becky Vine

Head of Commercial & Marketing
